Saracen Horse Feeds and Kentucky Equine Research (KER) joined forces more than 20 years ago to combine the latest scientific knowledge with practical horse nutrition. Who is Kentucky Equine Research?
Kentucky Equine Research, founded in 1988 by Dr. Joe D. Pagan, he's the world leader in horse nutrition research. This independent organization conducts its own research and collaborates with leading universities around the world. Their mission is to bring scientific discoveries directly to you – feed producers and horse owners. Since their inception, they have focused on sharing up-to-date information, proven products and practical advice.
KER has one of the most extensive private research programmes in the world. Their studies cover everything from nutrition and physiology to the specific needs of modern horse athletes. We use the results of this research to make every bag of Saracen feed.

Equine Health and Nutrition Conference 2024
V únoru 2024 se v Ocale na Floridě konala 27. konference Equine Health & Nutrition Conference: Applying The Science, kterou pořádala KER. Tato dvoudenní akce přilákala odborníky z 19 zemí na šesti kontinentech, včetně členů našeho týmu Saracen. Přední světoví vědci zde představili 16 přednášek na klíčová témata, která pomáhají zlepšovat péči o koně. Záznamy z této konference jsou k dispozici jako soubor otázek a odpovědí – technický tým KER kladl speakrům praktické otázky a jejich odpovědi jsou fascinující i užitečné.
Předchozí významná konference, 30. výročí KER, proběhla v říjnu 2018 v Lexingtonu v Kentucky. Tyto akce ukazují, jak vážně KER bere sdílení nejnovějších poznatků s celým světem.
